After moving to Blacksburg four years ago, Magie quickly made this house and its garden her own. The architecturally interesting house with outdoor living space sits beautifully on a quarter acre. Tucked away behind dense shrubbery, the walking path near the front of the property winds its way to the front door and the deck at the entrance to the house. Large trees provide sculptural interest in the front yard. Curves of the two-level deck are echoed in curved rock pathways and in metal sculpture and water features. The garden, which features woodland perennials, is lush and green and tranquil. And there’s a tree house, to boot!
